If you didn't have a Jazz Pedagogy course as a Music Ed. major, this course will fill that hole, whether you are a wind, string, or vocal teacher! Learn the vital differences between teaching classical and non-classical music. Gather insights into teaching improvisation and style for all musicians as well as guiding your rhythm sections in instrumental and choral groups. Learn how to choose equipment, set up the ensemble, acquire and adapt repertoire and grow your jazz program! EDU-565-PM3 – 1 Credit
