Description

This camp experience is geared toward 13-14 years olds. We will be spending time in the great outdoors building resilience through our challenge course, canoeing, archery, equine experiences, mindfulness and so much more! All activities are intentionally sequenced to help your teen build resilience, connection, and communication skills. Activities are debriefed by our trained facilitators to help your teen connect the experiences with real life. There will be opportunities to learn some of the skills needed to run these activities including but not limited to; knot tying for climbing, belay techniques, paddle techniques, science behind mindful activities, archery skills & maintenance, and so much more! Additionally, we are offering an optional Thursday night camp out. Meals, snacks, and hydration will be provided. We believe in making our programming accessible to as many people as possible and have scholarships available! Please contact our registrar Bethany at bethany@lifeadventurecenter.org for a scholarship application form. Scholarship applications are due by March 1st.
